Do I need previous IT experience?
No. Complete beginners can start with networking fundamentals before progressing to Linux and cyber security subjects. We can recommend a suitable starting point based on your current skills and career goals.
How many students attend each class?
Each class is limited to a maximum of five students. This small-group format gives every learner more time to complete practical exercises, ask questions and receive direct guidance from the instructor.

Can I attend a free induction session?
Yes. The free induction takes place before Session 1 and is separate from the paid teaching sessions. You can meet the tutor, see the training environment, discuss your goals and identify the most suitable starting course without an obligation to enrol.
What will I learn in the DCCP programme?
The complete DCCP route begins with dedicated Network+ and Kali Linux foundation courses, followed by the 50-session, 25-chapter DCCP cybersecurity core. The core applies those foundations to authorised security assessment, defensive security, vulnerability management, incident response, evidence and reporting instead of repeating basic networking or Linux administration.
Does DigiUK provide official Cisco, CompTIA or EC-Council certification?
DigiUK is an independent training provider. Our programmes develop knowledge and practical skills related to recognised certification subject areas. Official examinations, vendor certifications and exam vouchers are not included unless explicitly stated.
How is the training delivered?
Training is delivered through live, instructor-led sessions combining clear explanations, guided demonstrations and hands-on laboratory exercises. Classes are held in person at our Manchester academy.
