Testing requires your written authorisation and agreed targets, methods and timing. Vulnerability scanning and configuration review are included within scope. Manual penetration testing and exploitation are separately scoped and quoted. An assessment helps reduce risk; it cannot guarantee that every vulnerability is found or prevent every future attack.

The £700 technical assessment is a separate package.

Do we need ISO 27001 to book an assessment?
No. You can book a technical security assessment to understand and improve your security. ISO preparation is an additional service for organisations that need it.
Does £700 cover every business with 10 PCs?
It is the starting price for the straightforward single-site scope listed above. Servers, complex systems and additional testing can affect the quotation. We agree the price before booking.
What does the £999 ISO 27001 price cover?
It is the starting price for an agreed preparation package for a straightforward, single-site business with up to 10 PCs. During your free consultation we review your existing arrangements and confirm the preparation deliverables, scope and fixed price. Independent certification fees, technical fixes and work outside the agreed scope are additional.
Is penetration testing included?
Agreed vulnerability scanning and configuration checks are included. Manual penetration testing and exploitation require a separate quotation and written authorisation.
Can our existing IT provider fix the issues?
Yes. Your report includes recommendations for your team or provider. DigiUK’s implementation support is optional and separately quoted.
